| Tipping and other customary practices in your destination
Tipping
- It is a customary practice in many countries for service providers to expect tipping in appreciation for their services rendered.
- Generally, the standard tradition is such that the service providers are employed on a relatively low wage with the expectation that they will merit tips for the services provided
- While the travel agent may provide a guideline, tipping should reflect the level of satisfaction with the service provider and is voluntary, at the discretion of the customer.
Other Customary Practices
- Other customary practices may pertain to attire or behavior acceptable to their society.
